2019 Production of the Year awarded to Miss Clayton, Miss Cleveland & Miss Capital City Competition
Preliminary competitions wrapped up on Friday, June 21st 2019, at Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium for the 2019 Miss North Carolina Competition.
Prior to announcing the final preliminary awards for the candidates, the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Organization also presented superlatives to highlight work carried out by local volunteers.
The Miss Clayton, Miss Cleveland and Miss Capital City Scholarship Organization committee, led by John Norris, was awarded the 2019 Production of the Year. This award, presented by Executive Director Beth Knox, was attributed to the “Triple C” organization leaving no box unchecked, being joined by the reigning Miss North Carolina Laura Matrazzo as the emcee for the night and featuring incredible costume changes during the colorful opening number. The production featured customized LED video panels throughout the show, and showcased their previous Miss Capital City titleholder and now Miss America Nia Franklin as part of the spectacular production.
