At the 2017 Miss Capital City and Miss Clayton Scholarship Pageant, Beth Knox, Executive Director of the Miss North Carolina Pageant presented the Miss North Carolina Heart of Service Award to Miss Clayton 2016, Ashtin Gill. The award was presented by last year’s Heart of Service Award recipient, Comfort Johnson.
