Tampa, FL (September 27, 2017) – The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization announced today that the 2018 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition will take place in Orlando, Florida at the Linda Chapin Theatre inside the Orange County Convention Center in July 2018.

 

Talented and articulate representatives from each state, along with the District of Columbia, will check in on Saturday, July 21st for an exciting week of events, all culminating with the competition finals on Saturday, July 28th, where one young woman will win the coveted MAOTeen title.

 

“The MAOTeen Organization is so proud to continue our relationship with the Orange County Convention Center and the Rosen Centre Hotel,” said Donna Bozarth, MAOTeen’s Chairman of the Board.  “I hope everyone will join us for this unique event celebrating America’s most outstanding young women.” The 2018 MAOTeen Competition Finals follows three days of Preliminary Competitions (July 24-26) and a week of various events held around the City of Orlando.

The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs. The MAOTeen organization encourages positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living, and community involvement of our nation’s young women. MAOTeen provides educational scholarships for deserving young people and has developed mentoring programs and community-based initiatives across the country. The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen organization has a long-standing relationship with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through this partnership, MAOTeen contestants raise over $300,000 annually to benefit CMN Hospitals and MAOTeen scholarships.
