Ashtin Gill, Miss Clayton 2016, receives Miss North Carolina Heart of Service Award
Miss Clayton’s Outstanding Teen 2016, Catherine White, earned the title of Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen 2016 at the state pageant held this June in Raleigh, NC. From MissNC.org:
Catherine White, Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen 2016, is a 17 year old senior homeschool student. She enjoys dancing and connecting with her community through involvement in various programs. White is the daughter of David & Amy White of Clayton, NC. Her platform for the competition was “The Power of S.H.E: Selfless, Humility, Esteem.”
During the 2016 MNCOTeen competition, White performed a tap dance to “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” and was a double preliminary winner in Talent and Evening Gown/Onstage question.
Catherine will go on to compete at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen in Orlando, Florida in August.
